Last Position 2nd Purser Catering on Reina Del Mar

Great period. Left in 1972. Experienced the Good Hope Castle as Purser Catering Officer as well as Rochester Castle, all good although I did not appreciate it at the time.

Went back to sea in 1989 as Chief Purser on Hebridean Princess for 12 years. A job I would never have got without the experience with Union-Castle.

Was on Reina Del Mar when the safe was robbed and got arrested (along with others) for it.

Also on SA Vaal when a passenger jumped overboard and was found again.

Now do after lunch talks on my experiences.

Now living in Bingley, Yorkshire.
