This is in response to the notice in the March Family Tree Magazine.
My great uncle by marriage was WALTER MURLAY HUCKS. He died in 1959 at the age of 72. He was employed in the Union-Castle offices in London, but I do not know what he did.
When he retired, presumably in 1952 or thereabouts, he and his wife were given a Union-Castle trip to South Africa. The trip had an interesting effect. Before he went Walter was a strong opponent of apartheid, but when he came back he was no longer sure that it was a bad thing.
I notice that the e-mail address given in the notice is not the same as that on the web site. I hope this reaches you.
